If you’re passing through Calmar on your way down, pro tip: the …is good Coffee Bar has excellent sausage rolls.
What To Expect
Camp Maskepetoon has a main lodge, twelve cabins, a big firepit, hiking trails, and sprawling forests all around. There’s running water and gas heat, but it’s pretty rustic overall.
Not familiar with Spring weather in Northern Alberta? Expect anything from lingering snow to sudden downpours to sweltering heat. It might be anywhere from -10 to +30 (celsius). Most days are sunny! Check the forecasts, hedge your bets, and prepare for adventure.
Sleeping Arrangements
We have cabin bunks available at no cost for everyone who wants to stay on site (please let us know in your RSVP). They’re un-fussy summer camp style: single cots, eight or more to a cabin, bring your own bedding.
Prefer something fancier? The Village Creek Country Inn is located nearby, in The Village at Pigeon Lake — a 20 minute drive.
